Women’s soccer season ends in overtime
For the first time since 2008, the lady Penguins reached the November NWAACC Soccer Championships tournament. Clark ended the regular season squeezing into third place in the South Division standings, beating out the Chemeketa Storm for the spot. The Penguins finished with a 6-8-0 conference record and an overall record of 7-13-0.

Men’s soccer falls short in playoffs
What had seemed like a dream year for Clark's men's soccer team ended Nov. 9, as the Penguins fell to Olympic College 1-0 in the first round of the NWAACC Soccer Championships. The loss cut short aspirations for the Penguins to make it to the championship round, after the team had enjoyed one of its best seasons in the last few years.

Cody Guthrie is "Coach on the field" for men's soccer team
Being a leader is no easy task. Cody Guthrie knows this first-hand. The 6-foot-1-inch sophomore is a captain for Clark's men's soccer team. The 19-year-old Guthrie is one of eight sophomores on his team. He is the Penguins' starting center-back this year, switching from his previous position of outside-back defender.
